Carl Jung: On transference/projections

Carl Jung was full of all sorts of bits of wisdom.  One of my favorites is: "What you resist persists."  Here's a related Jungian quip:



This is a bit like the psychological concept of projection, but with a slightly skeptical twist.  Not only is it pushed to the outside, but it appears (what?) inevitable.   Perhaps the Third Reich is an example of an inner state appearing as fate when projected outward.  What do you think?  Please comment and add your $0.02!

It seems to me that the German state at that time was basicly one big religious cult.
